About the founder
Patrick Castafero — 20+ years running IT where downtime isn't an option.
Iron Path Strategy is built on time actually spent holding the seat: 20+ years leading enterprise infrastructure, security, and IT operations inside regulated, high-availability organizations, most recently as infrastructure, security & end-user services lead for a global FDA- and SOX-regulated manufacturer. His background spans healthcare, financial services, higher education, and global manufacturing — always in a hands-on, player-coach capacity.
He's built greenfield data centers, led a headquarters relocation with zero business disruption, re-architected environments around zero-trust principles after a cybersecurity incident, and cut six figures in annual infrastructure spend without loosening security or compliance posture. He served in the United States Navy before starting his IT career.
